According to a statement by the San Benito Police Department (SBPD), on Monday, June 26, 2023, at approximately 2:06 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of S. McCulloch St. in reference to a single vehicle rollover crash.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a white 2010 Cadillac Escalade had rolled over and came to stop in the front yard of a residence located on S. McCulloch St., read a statement issued by the City of San Benito.
Officers then made contact with a male subject lying just a few feet from the vehicle. The male, who was identified as 20-year-old Eduardo Perez Zamora, a San Benito resident, said he was the driver and had been ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
