The City of San Benito announced this week the graduation of Martin Saenz from the UT-RGV Certified Public Management (CPM) Program. His graduation took place on December 12, 2022, at the Texas State Capitol.
The CPM Program is a nationally accredited, comprehensive management development program that is designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of management in government, and to improve professionalism and effectiveness of government managers.
The CPM title is prestigious, obtained through rigorous hours of study.
Saenz, who is currently the City of San Benito’s Community Development Block Grant Coordinator, began his career with the City of San Benito in 2019 as an administrative assistant to the city manager and was quickly promoted to executive assistant to the city manager before transitioning to his current role in June of this year.
