SAN BENITO, TX—Elvira Rodriguez Estrada, 91, of San Benito passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.
Elvira is survived by her daughter, Josefina E.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of resurrection will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernie Estrada, Edward Estrada, Andy Claudio, Ruben Huerta, Daniel Ray Mares and Elueterio Cortez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Estrada, Jr. and Andrew Claudio, Jr.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Estrada; her parents, Elueterio and Josefa Rodriguez; two sons, Ramon R. Estrada and Guadalupe F. Estrada; two sisters, Guadalupe H. Huerta and Rosa R. Salazar; two brothers, Jose H. Rodriguez and Roberto H. Rodriguez; and son-in-law, Joel Abrego.
