Cristina Meza Mercado, 65, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 26, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gumercinda Galvan Meza, her father Jose C. Meza and her brother Miguel Meza.

She is survived by her husband Salvador Mercado, Sr.; her son Salvador Mercado, Jr.; her daughters Marianna (Tomas) Izaguirre, Leticia (Santos) Davila, Rosalinda Mercado, Maria Irene (Jaime Moreno) Mercado, her brothers, Jesus Meza, Jose Fidel Meza, Alberto Meza, Carlos Meza; her sisters Elida Mendiola, Juanita Perez, Guadalupe Flores, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, TX.
