The San Benito CISD ACE After School Program is sponsoring a summer camp for area students.
The ACE Summer Camp is offering an exciting and enriching summer experience filled with fun activities, educational field trips, and adventure, according to district officials. The camp is being held from June 2, 2025 — July 11, 2025, at Berta Cabeza Middle School, 2901 Shafer Rd., San Benito, and San Benito High School, 450 S. Oscar Williams Rd., San Benito.
Students from current Kindergarten-12th grade are eligible to register. The camp will run daily from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., with a scheduled break from June 30-July 4, 2025. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided, and bus transportation will be available.
According to an ACE program Facebook post, “It is important to note that registration does not guarantee a spot in the program. Parents will be contacted for confirmation and additional details.” To apply, a completed registration form must be submitted, the post reads.
According to the program’s Vision Statement, through combined efforts of staff, community, and families, the district’s ACE program provides rigorous activities that harbor college and career ready students.
As its mission statement reads, the SBCISD After School Program is an extension of the school day that enhances student’s success by improving attendance, behavior, social skills and academics.
The goal of the ACE After School Program is to extend learning opportunities outside of the regular school day to improve educational outcomes in academic performance, attendance, positive behavior, grade promotion, and graduation rates. Funded by federal, state, and local funds, the program provides services for students at San Benito CISD campuses during the school year.
