an is behind bars and facing a first degree felony charge for her role in an aggravated robbery that took place in Harlingen on May 15. Demi J. Cruz was arrested, along with three other Harlingen residents, after the group allegedly strangled a man and struck him several times with a baseball bat before taking a grand total of $12 from their victim.
