Woman fighting for her life after struck by vehicle off Business 77

A Harlingen woman is fighting for her life today after she was struck by a vehicle off Business 77 last night.

According to a press release issued by the San Benito Police Department, 35-year old Carmen De La Rosa was hit by a 2016 Black 4-door Dodge Dart last night at approximately 7:40 p.m.

She is currently at Valley Baptist Medical Center listen in critical condition with numerous fractures on the right side of her body, including a broken leg and arm and suffering from hemorrhaging to the head.
