Man arrested for assaulting 67-year old San Benito man

An assault on a 67-year old man outside a local restaurant resulted in a 1st degree felony charge for a San Benito man on Valentine’s Day.

According to San Benito police, 39-year old Raul Martinez was arrested after he allegedly followed an elderly man out into the parking lot of Wingshack on Sunday and began punching him repeatedly, causing a fracture to the right orbital bone of the man.
