There is no longer a “Week Zero” in Texas High School Football, but some would argue that PSJA North and San Benito most certainly got an extra game under their belts.
Thursday night’s tilt at Bobby Morrow Stadium felt like anything but a scrimmage, as the game went down to the final buzzer with the ‘Hounds holding on for a 28-24 victory.
The Raiders held the ball last and were in Greyhound territory before being turned away on the game’s final play.
Both teams played four, 10-minute quarters under game-like situations and officiating and intensity as well.

i’d like t see some important football players go both ways on the field to much siiting around the bench wasting precious engery. Postions at full back runing backs qbs and recivers can be utilized from some defense players staying on the field instead of going tot he bench to sit down. Man! I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!!!
