On any given Friday night during the 2008 football season, most of San Benito could be found packed into Bobby Morrow Stadium to watch their beloved Greyhounds. And anyone who remembers that year is most likely familiar with the name Matt Montalvo. The former All-state receiver, who tied a record in high school with a 109-yard interception return for a touchdown, was an absolutely dominant force on the gridiron. With 3 years of varsity experience, including being named a captain during his senior year, Montalvo is no stranger to the spotlight. But now the 24-year-old San Benito Alumni has his eyes set on dominating his latest venture- the music industry.
