It was a chaotic scene from the start. Firefighters rushed off their truck, axed down a wooden fence, and then rushed in as quickly as possible into a home that was on fire Thursday afternoon, not knowing if there were any people inside.
Fortunately, nobody was home at the time of the incident, which occurred at approximately 11:41 a.m. at 1300 Fresno St. in an area known locally as “La Hermosa.”
Nearby resident stood by in astonishment as firefighters rushed back and forth, grabbing numerous tools to assist each other in helping put out the flames from inside.
