Two San Benito residents were arrested and charged with Burglary of Habitation on Wednesday after committing what police called a “crime of opportunity.” According to a press release from the SBPD, 25-year-old David Ignacio Garza, broke into a garage located on the 100 Block of Resaca Shores and stole a leaf blower valued at a little over $200.  Garza then proceeded to get in an SUV driven by his common law wife, 37-year-old Pearl Maldonado.
