Members of the San Benito Lady Greyhound track and field team recently competed in the Area Track Meet at Bobby Lackey Stadium in Weslaco.
WESLACO – The San Benito Lady Greyhounds performed well at the Area Track Meet held at Bobby Lackey Stadium in Weslaco on Wednesday and Thursday.
In the 4×100 meter relay, San Benito’s Rosa Gomez, Kristen Rodriguez, Alexia Garcia and Amber Jasso placed third, advancing to the Regionals Track Meet in San Antonio as a result.
Jasso placed third in the 100 meter dash and also advanced to regional competition.
