RIO HONDO – The Rio Hondo Independent School District has recruited the assistance of the community for input in the search for a new logo to use for its athletic programs.
Earlier this month, RHISD officials received a cease and desist from Texas State University in regards to the Bobcat logo used by a number of sports teams at Rio Hondo High School.
The school district was asked to stop using the logo, a gold side profile of a bobcat rendering, because it is nearly identical to what’s used by Texas State University, a maroon side profile of a bobcat rendering outlined in gold.
