A press conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 24, at Casa de Proyecto Libertad in Harlingen to announce the filing of a bipartisan bill in hopes of passing the bill in the nation’s capital.
San Benito native Rogelio T. Nuñez, Executive Director of Casa de Proyecto Libertad, has been at the forefront of the Border Enforcement Accountability, Oversight and Civic Engagement Act, and will visit Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 26, to be on hand for the filing of the legislation.
