San Benito CISD officials cited human error in the bi-weekly payroll checks being issued without signatures on Friday.
Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ismael Cantu confirmed that a number of school district employees were affected by the mishap, many of whom contacted the San Benito News on Friday with their concerns. Specifically, employees said their banks refused to cash or deposit their checks without signatures.
