No changes in local election landscape

ElectionsThe last day to file for the upcoming races for the San Benito CISD and Cities of San Benito and Rio Hondo May general elections is days away, but not much has changed since Friday, Feb. 21.

As of presstime Tuesday, Feb. 25, there have not been any changes to the upcoming races for the San Benito CISD School Board or the San Benito City Commission.

    Harlingen CISD will cancel its school board elections. They have a strong, stable school board. If only that feeling could pass over the city line to San Benito.
