Jesus Meza
Mr. Jesus Meza, 68, of San Benito, TX went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Febuary 2, 2014. Jesus was born on June 11, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Jose C. Meza and Gumecinda Galvan Meza.
Jesus is survived by his wife Tae Nam Meza, sons Jesse Meza (Eyra) and Jose A. Meza (Diana). He is also survived by his siblings Elida Mendiola (Juan), Juanita Perez (Albino), Jose Fidel Meza (Yolanda), Alberto Meza (Anna), Lupita Flores (Arturo) and Carlos Meza (Anna Marie) and numerous nephews and nieces.
Jesus retired from the U.S. Airforce and he was employed by The Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement Port Isabel Detention Center.
The family held a public visitation on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. A mass was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. Interment followed at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Mr. Meza was such a nice neighbor it was a very sad moment when i first heard about his illness and also heard about him passing away . He was one to always be outside working on his yard and never failed to wave hi with a big smile when i would pass by. He will truly be missed and and never be forgotten. He along with his family will continue to be in my prayers. May God be with his family and friends in this time of grief and always be with them.
