Juana Ornelas-Paez Perez
SAN BENITO—Juana Ornelas-Paez Perez age 84, went home to be with the Lord December 8, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was her passion, she also had a passion for the word of God. Juanita was a good Samaritan always helping others in need.
She is survived by her children, Sylvia Perez, Lino Perez, Marisela Perez (Juan Farias), Isaias Perez (Gina) Jose Hernandez (Olga), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, Mario Ornelas, sisters, Enedina, Rosa and Carmela Ornelas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Juana is preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Perez and children, Guillermo and Manuel Angel Perez.
Visitation was held on Monday December 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Harlingen. Interment will follow at Las Rusias Cemetery.
