Citizens of San Benito have reported spotting dead fish floating along the banks of the resaca, an incident similar to one that occurred over two years ago.

A similar happening occurred in February 2011, in which hundreds of dead fish were observed floating near the bands of the resaca. It was later determined that the dead fish were a result of cold temperatures, particularly a freeze which hit the city only weeks prior.

    Consider This;
    Could the dead fish be from the city water department pumping live sewage into the storm water drains that drain into the resacas,as they have done at the intersection of Austin and Powers streets ?

    1. I wonder if any other fish experienced the same fate in near by resacas or ponds?
