PORT ISABEL – In the Class 3A ranks, the Rio Hondo-Port Isabel bout has become quite the draw over the years and more often than not decides the winner of District 32-3A.
Including a share officially clinched this year, Port Isabel now has claimed eight total (outright or shared) district titles since 2001. Rio Hondo has won five.
