Blood work results pending in fatal accident

The San Benito Police Department is still awaiting the results of blood work taken from the driver of a vehicle involved in an auto-pedestrian accident that left a 17-year-old San Benito High School student dead.

Emelia “Emily” Martinez was hit by a vehicle on the night of June 27 near Robertson and Diaz Street. Martinez’ family has since sought justice for their loss.

    It was not the drivers fault this girl was not paying attention to her surroundings

      You should just stop commenting because if it was your family member you would be wanting to get the driver to pay as well. Whether she was paying attention or not the family still has a right now if he was under the influence.
