Affidavits of arrest filed with Justice of the Peace David Garza’s office indicate that a former San Benito choir teacher arrested last year for online solicitation of a minor, a case involving a Harlingen juvenile, has also been accused of victimizing students attending Berta Cabaza and Miller Jordan Middle Schools.
Officer Omar Garza of the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District Police Department filed three arrest affidavits with Judge Garza’s office alleging that Alfredo Hernandez Jr. attempted to meet with the three students for the purposes of engaging in sexual conduct.

I think I missed something. The newspaper articles stated that the Chief was not aware that Officer Garza was holding on to this information until he got a visit from the D.A. ‘s office. The D.A. found out about it because Garza’s attorney informed them. Why didn’t Garza just tell the Chief he had this information?
I guess you are right,sort of.The school police chief should have done what he was told,by Limon.He didn’t ,so why did Tony not follow thru ? So maybe somebody’s passing the buck here,who hired this police chief ?
Now the next question is who hired this so called educator,well guess what,in the end it all ends up in the top office.The boss is responsible for all the actions of his Indians.If your not willing to accept the actions of your people why did you hire them ? Well,you say you didn’t hire them,somebody else did,but you were,either directly,or indirectly responsible for their actions,man-up and swallow the medicine.Along with the title and glory,comes the accountability.
I do believe the culprit responsible for failing to turn over the computer to the HPD has been solved, and it’s NOT Superintendent Antonio G. Limon, it’s Officer Omar Garza. Clearly he held on to the computer, in spite of a directive by Limon to turn it over to the HPD, so that he could conduct his own investigation.
Now that Mr. Limon has been cleared, the board should reinstate him. Now they can focus their “investigation” on the renegade officer who failed to follow a directive and impeded a criminal investigation, and his department head and who failed to follow through on the directive to ensure that it was carried out.
