The San Benito Greyhounds are shown Friday during their first day of practice in full gear at Bobby Morrow Stadium.
The annual “Meet the Greyhounds” is scheduled for Monday, August 19 at 7 p.m. as the ’Hounds prepare for their first scrimmage later that week.
“I think it’s important for the community to be able to see who they’re cheering for, to be able to see their faces, and at the end to be able to come down to the field and shake their hands,” said Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Spencer Gantt. “I think it’s very important—the interaction between the two (fans and players).”

They should be going shoulder pad to shoulder pad who’s idea was to use dummies? Was it another wasted tax payer’s money to buy big soft padded shields so shoulder pads do not become worn out? And what kind if a drill is that? I do not see anyone carrying a football I sure hope it’s not a tackling drill.
Why don’t you sit out there during practice so you can answer your own question! These boys are working hard!
While the other teams make it look easy. You should work smarter not harder. Oh! they might get hurt.
