RIO HONDO – The past, present and future collide annually at the Rio Hondo cheer camp.
The Spirit Belles, founded by director Susan G. Lopez 21 years ago, is a group where girls, aged 4 through 13, can begin to learn the first ropes of cheerleading. The Spirit Belles perform at half-time at Rio Hondo football games and are instrumental in bringing spirit to the whole community.
