A San Benito Fire Department lieutenant remains on paid administrative leave following his arrest for family violence, a charge which stems from allegations that he stomped on his common-law wife’s hand.
“There was a complaint filed and action has been taken on him right now, but I’m not sure where it’s going yet,” said Assistant City Manager Arturo Rodriguez of SBFD Lt. Ramon Martinez Jr.
