More than three decades ago, Patsy Sanchez-Paredes blazed trails on and off the track.
Sanchez-Paredes, a 1982 San Benito High School grad, dashed her way to track and field greatness by accomplishing feats no other female from here had before. Naturally, this set the bar extremely high for future Lady Greyhound athletes to come.
And without a doubt, her record-setting performances and accompanying legacy on the track have truly stood the test of time.

CONGRATULATIONS! I only wish I could be there for the ceremony.
Congratulations Patsy. I remember that SBHS made a Pep Rally especially for you before you went off to state. I was your cheerleader sponsor and was always so proud of you. Good luck Mija. Love ya , MS. SAL
