RIO HONDO – The race for the Place 1 Rio Hondo ISD School Board post is on.
Michael St. John has thrown his hat into the race for the Pl. 1 seat challenging incumbent Noe Alaniz.
This marks the third time St. John has chosen to run for the Rio Hondo ISD School Board, and the third time he will face Alaniz.
“The school board thinks they are irreplaceable, but they aren’t,” said St. John on Tuesday while campaigning in Rio Hondo. “This is my third time running, and each time I get a little bit closer. They say the third time is the charm, and I really hope it is.”
