SAN BENITO, TX—Maria C. Garcia, 99, of San Benito, TX passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Agustin V. Garcia and a son, Javier Garcia.
She is survived by her loving children, Jose Angel (Rosa Maria) Garcia, Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, Gracie Garcia, and Martha I. (George) Cuellar. She had 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic in San Benito, TX. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, TX.
