Maria Cruz Moreno, 76, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2012 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Domingo Moreno; father Ernesto Moreno; and sister Angelita Cerda.
She is survived by her daughter, Dina Lee (Jason) Escobar; three grandchildren: Carlos Lyonso Hernandez, Celeena Larissa Hernandez, and Ruby Lee Rivera; and brothers and sisters: Juana (Estevan) Carmona, Ernesto (Josefina) Moreno, Maria Dora Moreno, Maria Santos Moreno, Lucinda (Victor) Pena, Adriana Moreno, Jose (Alma) Moreno, and Marta Moreno.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 4 p.m.-9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of resurrection will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, with interment to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
