Alfonso H. Aguilar, 92, of San Benito, TX formerly of Aurora passed away peacefully at Provena Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Cruz Aguilar of 71 years, loving children Teresa (Juan) Villanueva, Irma (Frank) Benavidez, Alfonso Jr., dear friend Peggy Bartelt, Frances Aguilar, Belinda (Fidencio) Guzman, the late Jesse Aguilar and the late Lydia Klotz. He is also survived by his dear brother Juan (Anna) Garza, 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus Aguilar and Hijinia Hernandez, his brother Brigido Santellan, Aunt Josefina Hernandez, daughter-in-law Sylvia Aguilar, grandson Gabriel Guzman and great-granddaughter Yanel Goodman.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday October 11, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 925 Sard Ave., Aurora, IL, with prayers at the Memorial Home at 9:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
