A San Benito man was arrested Wednesday for carrying a small arsenal of weapons, including an assault rifle equipped with several magazine clips.
Detective Rogelio Banda, Jr. of the San Benito Police Department said in a press release that 42-year-old Irineo C. Delgado of San Benito was arrested at approximately 9:55 p.m. August 22 for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
It all began when police pulled over a black Ford pickup truck for speeding in the vicinity of FM 509 and U.S. Business 77.

2 weapons is not an “arsenal” and even it were, so what?
Obviously most felons shouldn’t be armed, but people are growing tired “journalists” parroting the national policy of demonizing gun owners. Better hope they subsidize your paper because a few more these and I’m cancelling. PS: The CAPTCHA are nothing but a huge annoyance and take several tries, consider another system.
FYI. I only see magazines in the photo. Ammunition can come on stripper clips which can be used to load magazines.
