Need a wedding or quinceañera planned? Thanks to Andrea Mancillas-Cabañas, there’s now an app for that.
In July 2011, Mancillas-Cabañas, a 30-year-old former San Benito High School teacher and SBHS graduate, was living in San Antonio and planning a Valley wedding.
A professor at Northwest Vista College, Mancillas-Cabañas has the typical summer vacation, but even with extra time on her hands, long-distance wedding planning was a daunting task.
Frustrated with the process of researching countless vendors for her own wedding, Mancillas-Cabañas thought, “There should be an app for this” process. At the time, there was not.
