It takes a lot more than just words.
That was the theme Thursday as members of the group Save Dolly took action in helping upkeep the grounds of Dolly Vinsant Memorial Hospital.
With a conflicting art show being held in the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center, the regular meeting place for Save Dolly members, the group continued clean-up efforts on Thursday and met at the hospital with weed eaters, hoes, paint, hedge trimmers and a leaf blower. Overgrown grass and weeds were cut, brush was taken away and the “dice” graffiti sprayed on the white cube outside of the front lawn was repainted.
