ResacaFest 2012 was on its way to be the biggest yet before it rained, but the City of San Benito has high hopes that a rescheduled event will pick up where the originally scheduled June 30 festival left off.
Members of the City of San Benito Special Events Board decided Monday to reschedule Saturday’s ResacaFest, which ended abruptly due to a torrential downpour, to July 14.
“The board was well prepared so everyone could have a great day, but you just can’t beat Mother Nature,” Mayor Joe H. Hernandez said.
