Thunderstorms could delay ResacaFest start time

thundercloudResacaFest could be delayed a few hours because of rain, but City of San Benito officials say the show will go on.

The National Weather Service is predicting a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms for San Benito on Saturday before dropping to 30 percent later in the evening.

However, the rain is supposed to be gone by 1 p.m., and ResacaFest will begin at 3 p.m. if the rain does move on through, according to Martha McClain, public relations coordinator for the city.
