A local man’s home was rebuilt thanks to volunteers from Cana Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas as well as members of Baptist Temple here in San Benito.
Both churches came together during a vacation bible study at Baptist Temple last week to participate in a number of activities, one of which included the volunteers from Burleson donating materials and labor to repair much of 58-year-old Pablo Rojas’ home.
Rojas, who has worked as the coordinator of construction and electricity for San Benito CISD for 21 years, lives across from Baptist Temple on Reagan Street, where his home suffered damage as a result of Hurricane Dolly.
