Although football season is months away, several San Benito Greyhound All-Star seniors are getting one last chance to play high school football before graduating.
Ernie Sandell, Jacob Puente, Anthony Lopez, Greg Rodriguez, Eric Galvan, and Jaime Castro have all been chosen to represent the ’Hounds in the annual Rio Grande Valley Coaches Association All Star game.
Corner Ernie Sandell, defensive end Jaime Castro, and place kicker Eric Galvan were all named to the 32-5A first team All-District lists. Fullback Anthony Lopez earned Honorable Mention credits in 32-5A as well.
