After demolishing the Hanna Lady Golden Eagles by a score of 13-3 on Saturday, the Lady ’Hounds were able to secure a share of the 32-5A title with Porter, making this the eighth district title in recent years.
Sophomore ace Amber Jasso helped lead the girls to victory, using her arm and skill to pile up nine strike outs in the game.
Kasey Sanchez, who batted 3 for 4 helped direct the team to a win, along with other lead hitters such as Dorothy Millan, who went 2 for 2, Clarissa Huerta and Jackie Elizondo who both went 2 for 3.

Is it to late for Gina Elizondo to pick up a bat? That would be somthing I would like to see in the whole wide world of sports.
