On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Veterans Memorial Academy will be holding Migrant Madness, an event for migrant students of all ages.
Registration will take place between 9-9:25 a.m. along with entertainment from the San Benito High School Mariachi del Sol.
Session one’s class, “Reading is Fundamental” will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Session two begins from 10:35-11:35 a.m. and will be followed by Keynote Speaker Manuel Vega, Outreach Specialist of the Texas Workforce Commission, who is scheduled from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m.
