The recommendations made by four San Benito area residents at Wednesday evening’s City Charter Review Committee’s public hearing will soon be up for review.
At the committee’s next meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23, members are expected to discuss said recommendations at length. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. inside the San Benito Municipal Building, located on 401 N. Sam Houston Blvd.
Among those who offered suggestions to the committee in their task to make amendments to the charter was Ron Rogers, a former board member for the San Benito Economic Development Corporation and current president of the South Texas Adult Resource and Training (START) Center.
