SAN BENITO, TX — Joel Rodriguez, 72, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence in San Benito.
Joel enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his son, Ismael Rodriguez; his daughter, Maria Rodriguez; and two brothers.
Joel is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Manuela Rodriguez; his children, Roberto (Dalia) Rodriguez, Gloria Rodriguez, Joel Rodriguez, Jr.; Eunice (Juan) Garcia, Delia Rodriguez, Damaris (Eddie) Serrano, and Isai (Debbie) Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rrayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Visitation will continue on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Templo Eben-Ezer Asambleas De Dios located at 996 Turner St. in San Benito.
Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Rev. Dora S. Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
