The San Benito Greyhounds varsity basketball team will soon prepare to bid farewell to their only three seniors Eddric Juarez, 18, Rey Perez, 17, and Christian Garza, 17.
Eddric was in eighth grade, when he first realized basketball was the sport for him. His cousin who played varsity in Houston taught him the sport and helped him grow.
Since then, he has idolized athletes such as Dwyane Wade, and, even though he is standing at 5’2”, aspires to be a college star, playing point guard for the University of Texas at Austin.
