Port Isabel native Ramiro Garza may have never run for public office until now, but just hearing him speak, it’s obvious that this candidate seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination for the District 27th Congressional Seat, which also serves the San Benito area, is poised, confident and well-versed in the art of the interview.
But Garza himself would say that after 15-plus years as a public administrator, he’s quite used to the recorders, cameras and a bit of the public spotlight.

I like Mr. Garza! He is not part of the same people running our county like his opponent. His platform is about bringing jobs, improving education and he has an open door policy for all. His opponent is part of the status quo and the ole compadrismo good ‘ol boy system. Enough is Enough!!! You have my vote Mr. Garza!!!!
