The “Battle of the Arroyo” rivalry video sent by San Benito CISD’s KSBG-TV 17 has made the first cut.
The 81-year-old grudge match between the San Benito Greyhounds and Harlingen Cardinals has been named one of the three finalists in the state of Texas for the 2011 Nike High School Rivalry Tour Contest.
San Benito CISD Community Relations Director Celia Longoria, who was recently notified about the achievement, expressed the significance of the rivalry video.
