San Benito is mourning the loss of 23-year-old Angel Gaytan, who was involved in a fatal crash early Sunday morning.
According to Trooper Johnny Hernandez of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the incident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. near FM 2520 south of FM 800 just outside San Benito, where Gaytan – a U.S. Army veteran – was reportedly traveling at the time.
