investigationA part-time security guard at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy appealed the findings of sexual harassment and gender discrimination allegations she levied on San Benito CISD Police Chief Santiago R. Garcia, who was cleared of any wrongdoing.

In her level three appeal – which was filed Monday, Oct. 3 and will go before Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón – part-time VMA security guard Esmeralda Leal cited a conflict of interest in what she termed an “unfair” and “biased” investigation as cause for her appeal.

Leal spoke candidly with the News Tuesday, alleging that the findings were politically-motivated.

SB NEWS – Should investigate Esmeralda Leal. Students / Faculty have seen the full time Security officer violating policy rules. Having a cell phone speaking and texting while on patrol. Disrespecting, cussing students and other officers especially thru the Motorola radios. The full time officer needs to be terminated.
But due to the conflict of interest political affair – Superintendents/ board of directors/ San Benito CISD Chief are cowardly to terminate her presence.
In other company’s / facility it will never tolerate such behavior.
