The Cameron County Juvenile Justice Department will again be celebrating the completed construction of another home built by the department’s Home Construction Program cadets.
Initiated in 2008, the program has since seen the construction of six homes. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Amador Rodriguez Boot Camp, located on 2330 W. Business Hwy. 77 behind the Darrell Hester Juvenile Justice Center, to mark the completion of the sixth home.
