RIO HONDO – In the midst of a defensive battle, Bobcat wide receiver Shawn O’Brien lined up in the backfield and drove the ball up the gut of the Raymondville Bearkats’ defense for six points.
Following the successful point-after attempt, the score was 7-0 with just 13 seconds left in the second quarter.
As it turned out, it was all the Bobcats needed to edge past the Bearkats in a 7-0 victory Friday night.
