The San Benito City Commission approved at Tuesday’s regular meeting a $10.00 base water fee to be imposed on multi-unit homes.
As previously reported by the News, recommendations have for weeks been made by the Utilities Board to impose a fee after research found that multi-unit homes housing, in some cases, as many as 80 tenants pay a fee for one or two meters.
